Marion Jones Hallucinating on Oprah Winfrey

Published by Joe Pietaro under Olympics, PEDs

Claims That She Would Have Won Without Steroids

Having been suspected of using performance-enhancing drugs all the way back to her high school days, it is difficult to even make a fair comparison to what Marion Jones may have been able to accomplish if she was natural. The track star - who was recently released from federal prison after serving a six-month sentence - made an appearance on “The Orpah Winfrey Show” and claimed that she would have been as successful without steroids.

Not only is that preposterous, but goes against everything that has been previously proven. Jones may regret her decision to use PEDs, but to deny what they did for her performance makes her appear even more a liar than she already has. Continue Reading »

Steroid Q & A Forum for ‘MuscleSport Radio’

Published by Joe Pietaro under MuscleSport Mag

Open Session an Alternative to Getting ‘Flamed’ on the Boards

Ever wanted to post a question on a new or even old thread on one of the many message boards/forums online? Especially if you’re new to ‘the game,’ you probably hesitated and just did a serach for something similar. My question to you is - why?

There are no such things as stupid questions when it comes to anabolic steroids. Just because there are assholes out there that like to ‘flame’ a thread doesn’t mean that you have to sit there and take it. With the addition of ‘MuscleSport Radio’ to the bodybuilding and sports industry, you have a real alternative.

Instead of waiting for an answer online, you’ll get a true live response. Are we going to tell you where to get the stuff? Of course not, and while we may feel that we are a step up from hidden names on a forum, we still can’t give you sources. That you’ll have to figure out. But when you do, at least you’ll be prepared and know what you should and shouldn’t do.

Listen live every Tuesday from 3-4 Eastern time on Blog Talk Radio (www.blogtalkradio.com) and be sure to call in to (347) 884-8157. You’ll be on the air live and not get jerked off and abused, which is a frequent occurrence on the boards.

Somalyze Profile

Published by Leigh Penman under Supplements

SOMALYZE (adj): To Sleep. Perchance to grow

By Leigh Penman

If there were a bodybuilding dictionary then the word/product ‘Somalyze’ would surely fall into the above definition. Somalyze was developed by Species Nutrition to fill the vacant shoes of a sleep driven muscle enhancing product which actually delivered – rather than promised – results. The question on everyone’s lips is did this, relative newcomer on the supplement scene; succeed in bringing results instead of just delivering empty promises? Continue Reading »

A Look Back at the WBF (World Bodybuilding Federation)

Published by Joe Pietaro under Bodybuilding, Wrestling

WWF/WWE Mogul Vince McMahon Tried His Hand at Bodybuilding in the 90s

The IFBB can be viewed as a monopoly. Even an organization that monopolizes its own industry couldn’t make a dent in bodybuilding. Considering that it was Vince McMahom from the wrestling world makes it even more surprising.

Back in September of 1990, at none other than the Mr. Olympia weekend in Chicago, the World Bodybuilding Federation was born in a press release stating that the new organization would “revamp professional bodybuilding with dramatic new events and the richest prize money in the history of the sport.” Calling the competitors the ‘WBF BodyStars,’ a slew of pros were signed over from the IFBB, including Gary Strydom, Berry DeMey, Mike Christain and Lou Ferrigno. Pretty Ugly

Published by Joe Pietaro under Football

Jets Survive Scare in 28-24 Win Over KC

Brett Favre said in his post-game press conference two weeks ago in a victory over Cincinnati that there are no such things as ‘ugly wins.’ After Sunday’s come from behind 28-24 victory over Kansas City, the Jet quarterback didn’t go as far as making that statement again, but did admit that overcoming adversity and mistakes has its benefits.

“I’ve been a part of a lot of those games and I have been on both sides,” Favre said. “It sure feels better to be on the winning side.”

That seemed unlikely after Brandon Flowers returned an interception – Favre’s third of the game – 91 yards to give the Chiefs a 24-21 lead with 7:48 left in the game. But the Jets were able to put together a six-play, 46-yard scoring drive that culminated in a 15-yard touchdown reception by Laveraneus Coles on an under thrown corner fade, leaving only one minute left on the game clock. Winstrol (Stanozolol) Profile

Published by Leigh Penman under Steroids

By Leigh Penman

This is part of a continuing series provided exclusively by MuscleSport Mag giving information on a variety of performance-enhancing drugs for educational purposes. While it is apparent that people are going to use these substances regardless of the health and legal risks involved, quality information is necessary and learning as much about them as possible can only assist an adult making a decision either way.

Winstrol is the ‘user friendly’ name given to the anabolic steroid Stanozolol. A derivative of dihydrotestosterone, Winstrol is a commonly used steroid for cutting cycles. Since it is not capable of converting into estrogen, gynecomastia is not a concern – even amongst the most sensitive individuals. It produces a lean, quality look with little or no water retention.
Winstrol is often seen as a less expensive alternative to Anavar since it produces similar gains in strength without significant weight gain. Continue Reading »

Testosterone Propionate Profile

Published by Leigh Penman under Steroids

By Leigh Penman

This is part of a continuing series provided exclusively by MuscleSport Mag giving information on a variety of performance-enhancing drugs for educational purposes. While it is apparent that people are going to use these substances regardless of the health and legal risks involved, quality information is necessary and learning as much about them as possible can only assist an adult making a decision either way.

Testosterone Propionate is the shortest estered, fastest acting form of testosterone currently available. Levels generally peak after 24-36 hours, however they soon begin to taper thereafter and the steroid itself only has a 2-3day life span. This can be a good thing for those susceptible to the side effects caused by longer acting testosterones (e.g. enthanate, cypionate, Sustanon 250) with Propionate causing less water retention and the user experiencing an increase in energy, a better muscle pump and an increase in strength and appetite after only one or two days. Breeders’ Cup Steroid Testing Spells the End of an Era in Horse Racing

Published by Joe Pietaro under Horse Racing

Eight Belles’ Death, Big Brown’s Winstrol Use Polarized What was Always the ‘Norm’

On the heels of the state of New York changing its horse racing steroid policy, the upcoming Breeders’ Cup this weekend will have testing for the banned substances. The ‘Sport of Kings’ has always been accepting of the use of performance-enhancing drugs and the recent windfall attempting to connect misfortune with steroids has all of a sudden changed that method of thinking.

If anyone believes that the death of Eight Belles at the Kentucky Derby and the hoof injuries to Big Brown have anything to do with steroids, then they will probably also believe that Barry Bonds felt he was only using flaxseed oil. Horses do have unfortunate accidents on the track, some resulting in their demise. Those incidents have absolutely nothing to do with steroids. It is simply another excuse to hang something on without finding out the true cause. Continue Reading »
