50 may be considered the new 20 after seeing Lou Ferrigno on the cover of not one but two major muscle publications this month just three years shy of his 60th birthday. The Brooklyn, New York native appears looking better than ever on the new “Muscular Development” and “Iron Man” magazines.
Big Louie was present at the Arnold Classic and it was obvious that the photo shoots weren’t all touched up to make him look better. “The Incredible Hulk” was perhaps even more impressive up close and is a testament that the bodybuilding lifestyle can prolong youth.
In the “Iron Man” cover feature, Ferrigno is training with his two grown sons, who back up the old saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Both are in great condition and look as if they have been hitting the gym since they were first walking.
The Ferrigno genes may have been passed on, but they definitely have not retired just yet.
