WPD IFBB Pro Tracy Hess
- Updated: January 4, 2017
By Tim Tibbs, Mix It Up Sports, LLC – Tracy Hess has been in the fitness industry for over 27 years. As a trainer, Hess motivates and educates her clients to stay healthy and strong. In 2004, she was awarded the prestigious Top Trainer Award from Style Magazine. Through her own fitness journey, Hess learned the importance of receiving the right guidance and knowledge of diet and exercise to achieve your personal fitness goals.
Hess started her career in bodybuilding in 1998. Through diet, discipline, training and valuable guidance from veterans in the sport, she has various first place and top overall placings on her resume. By 2005, Hess established a strong reputation in the sport, which drew attention from the National Physic Committee (NPC). The NPC recruited Hess to be a judge for their shows, a position in which she still holds today.
In 2013, Hess made the transition from competing in bodybuilding to women’s physique, a switch that has transcended her career. Hess earned her International Federation of Body Building (IFBB) Pro Card at the 2013 North Americas held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Upon achieving her IFBB Pro Card, the most coveted achievement in the sport, Hess created her own competition team called the T-zone Divas & Gents. With extensive experience as a competitor and a judge, Hess knows where her clients need to be physically and how to get there. The T-zone Divas & Gents is Hess’s way to give back to the sport and help those that aspire to compete in local, regional and national shows.
Hess has been featured in the following publications: Muscle & Fitness; Muscular Development; Flex Magazine; Planet Muscle; WPW Magazine; and Today’s Black Women. Tracy has also been on the following networks and radio stations: NBC; Fox “Good Day”; CN-8; 96.5 fm “Chio in the morning” and Power 99 fm.
