It is possible to prevent hair loss but you need to keep a close eye on the care you give to your hair, the quality of food you consume and the many factors that can damage it.

Picture your hair as a garden – there is a growing cycle and there are factors that might affect this process. Among some of these we can mention: chemicals, medication, illness, infections, and others. Anything that can interfere the cycle could cause hair loss.

On a daily basis people lose between 50 to 100 strands of hair, while washing the hair or combing it. This number could increase up to 250 strands of hair but a greater amount could raise an alarm that you might be losing more hair than usual.

It would be time to review your diet and make sure your daily intakes of vegetables and fruits are the correct ones. Also, adding some vitamins would be a good advice to follow and try to stay away from hair chemicals…look for unprocessed products instead.

There are ways to identify the Hair loss condition as well as plenty of ways to prevent and control it.

When you’re looking for the so-called ‘perfect protein shake,’ I’m sure that it has come at quite the cost – to your wallet and stomach. Trying to find an effective supplement that tastes just as good has not been an easy task, but thanks to Bart at Goliath Labs, the hard work has been done for you.

Say goodbye to that mudbath the others call a shake and hello to Isoloid. 27 grams of protein per serving, and that’s one scoop. These guys don’t try and pull a fast one on you by making it seems like a lot only to have the small print say ‘per two servings.’

Check out some of these details:

*Cold filtered whey isolate

*Rapid amino acid delivery

*Most biologically available whey

*Fat and lactose free

*27,000 mg of amino acids per serving

Isoloid is also 99 percent Bio-Available. What? In layman’s terms, that means that your body will digest, absorb and benefit fro virtually every gram. Many of those others on the vitamin store shelf contain inferior low protein concentrates, synthetic ingredients or artificial flavoring which can inhibit digestion and utilization.

You can’t go wrong with either flavor. Wonka Chocolate and Vicious Vanilla both taste fantastic and mix well. The best part? A two-pound can is only $49.95. Get yours today at www.golaithlabs.com.

Sometimes the mirror does lie. How many times did you look at your reflection and feel as if you have lost some weight? If you diet and exercise properly, most likely that happens more than not. But you need to go deeper to the root of the issue and that’s where the Warrior Body Mass Caliper comes into play.

Our friends over at Sequoia Fitness have made that easy for you with this easy-to-use product that should be in the home of every bodybuilder (pro, amateur and hopeful), as well as anyone else who cares what they really look like. (And if you don’t fall into any of those categories, you’re probably not visiting this website and reading this anyway. Have fun at the McDonald’s drive-thru, tubby.)

The Warrior calculates for up to four different users and measures not only body fat percentage, but also lean body mass. It displays your current and last results so you know what direction you’ve been taking. It does upper, middle and lower measurements, so you can get accurate readings on your chest/triceps, abdominals and quads.

When you hear that unique beep, you know that the reading was taken correctly and the large digital display screen tells the tale. You know that you used the correct amount of pressure because the machine informs you.

Lean body mass is the mantra for the perfect formula – a fat loss and muscle building program. Betcha didn’t know that Warrior is the ONLY body fat caliper on the market to measure this important number.

As if you needed any more convincing, every Sequoia Fitness product carries the stamp of the Military Standard for Physical Readiness. What the hell does that mean, you may ask? Their stuff meets a standard of excellence required by the armed forces when measuring body fat.

You get all this for the low cost of $23.95. And if you get stuck on anything using this or any of Sequoia Fitness products, give Matt a call at (877) 987-3737. The guy designed Warrior and has been in the game for 15 years. He’ll even forward you a PDF version of the instructions in case you lose them.

Be sure to visit their website for Warrior and other great fitness products that you will use every day.

When searching for a personal trainer Armagh to Colchester or London to Liverpool, it is worth putting in the time and effort to find the right person for you. It is easy to find a personal trainer but the key is finding the one that suits you. If you spend time and energy on discovering the ideal personal trainer it will be repaid many times over when it comes down to achieving specific goals.

A personal trainer will make sure you achieve the goals you have set out within your workout schedule, whether that is to lose weight, gain muscle tone, improve your cardiovascular system or rehabilitate after an injury. Good personal trainers will be encouraging and will motivate you as you exercise. They will prepare a progressive training plan that is specifically designed for you and it helps you reach your goals.

Benefits are endless when it comes to working out with a personal trainer. You will get the best from every session making it a quicker and more efficient way of training. Workouts will be varied and fun, meaning you will get more than just physical benefits from your training sessions. You will not only feel healthier and fitter, but you will gain a more positive mind and soul.

So how do you go about finding a personal trainer? Health and fitness clubs are good places to start as they have many personal trainers on their books and finding out their experience and qualifications is easy. For a personal trainer Colchester and numerous other towns and cities have professional health clubs offering free sessions with a personal trainer for you to try out.

It is important to find a properly qualified trainer. Look for someone who is a level 3 fitness professional who specialises in the area that you’re most interested in, such as weight loss or injury rehabilitation. It is important they have experience in the area which you most want to improve. For a qualified and experienced personal trainer Cheltenham is one of the many spa towns to offer these professionals.

Individuals or companies offer discount training sessions, or occasionally even free sessions. Make sure you take advantage of these deals as personal training doesn’t come cheaply and the intention is to improve your mind and body without emptying your pockets. For reductions with a personal trainer Glasgow and plenty of other towns offer all kinds of deals.

It is good to look into your trainer’s references and previous feedback from their other clients. Some health clubs show rankings of their personal trainers for your information. Examining someone’s credentials is worthwhile, especially if you are going to be relying on them to train you. You want to know that the best person is doing the best job for you in order for you to achieve your goals.

Before committing to a long term training programme it is advisable to have a taster session first. This will allow you to judge whether you are happy with the advice and exercises you are given, if you feel you have been listened to and your goals understood and whether or not you like them. It is always good to keep in mind that personal training should not only be effective and efficient, but it should also be fun!

By Andrew Parker- A promising US bodybuilder is highlighting the significance of using the right nutritional products and supplements in the quest to get in peak physical condition.

Dusty Hanshaw believes that what and when you eat is more important than the gym schedule you adopt.
“It’s everything,” admitted the 30-year-old, who will be on hand to offer help and guidance at this weekend’s Bodypower Expo in Birmingham.

“In fact, it’s more important than the training. Training, I would say, is 30%, and 70% is the food. And year round is the big thing.

“A lot of bodybuilders slack when they’re not getting ready for a show. They miss meals, they eat the wrong foods, and that’s why they don’t advance as well. The ones who live the lifestyle year-round are the ones who make it.”

The supplement industry is an ever-increasing market, especially in Europe and the UK, where Predator Nutrition are the leading distributor of sports nutrition products and bodybuilding supplements.

Hanshaw thinks that advances in nutrition resources and awareness about how best to fuel the body are helping modern-day bodybuilders make great progress in comparison to their predecessors.

He said: “I think with supplements, you’re always going to see advancements.

“Guys were getting in shape and everything long before nutritional supplements were around. But I think the best way to explain it is; look at the 1970s and the way bodybuilders were back then, and look at them now.
“We’ve advanced in every way and it’s because we have more knowledge of food, more knowledge of supplements, so we can push the envelope further. Supplements are a must if you want to make it to the top, that’s for sure.”

A typical day’s nutrition for Hanshaw offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of a professional bodybuilder.
He revealed: “I work out in the mornings, so I wake up and have a couple of scoops of protein powder, two cups of oatmeal, two cups of full-fat yoghurt, then I have my pre-workout MAXIMIZE – gotta have that!

“Then after I’ve trained I’ll have another two scoops of protein and about 100g of some sort of carb drink. The next three meals after that are 10 ounces of chicken and two cups of rice. The following meal is 16 ounces of steak and potato, and then one more chicken and rice. It’s pretty basic, but it works well for me.”

By Andrew Parker – For those new to the sport of bodybuilding knowing which sports supplements to use can be a difficult choice as the range is vast. Understanding the basics can make the decision a more straightforward process by taking the mystery out of the products on offer.

First consider the reason for using supplements, as opposed to relying on diet alone for all your nutritional needs. Building muscle puts extra demands on the body, which may not necessarily be met by food alone. Protein is required for growth and repair and in particular protein sources that contain all essential amino acids are most valuable for building strength and mass. The most complete proteins are thought to be casein, soy and whey protein. Finding such complete proteins from diet alone can be challenging.

Quality is also an important factor and many athletes have concerns about farmed protein sources containing unnecessary chemicals. Using a protein powder to supplement the diet ensures you are eating a quality form of protein that has no harmful substances, but also provides the body with the necessary nutrients in a convenient form.

Convenience is a major factor in the decision to use sports supplements. By ingesting a protein supplement in liquid form the body can digest the nutrient quickly, ensuring its rapid transport to the muscles. It is easy to prepare and take with you to the gym and can be taken before and after exercise for maximum benefits.

Although there are various sport supplements on the market the most popular remains protein powder and it is an excellent choice when starting out. Of all the different protein powders on the market, whey protein is the most popular as it is high in protein, containing high levels of essential amino acids and the highest amount of cysteine, whilst being low in fat and carbohydrates. It also has no known side effects and helps boost the immune system.

Whey protein powder differs to meal replacement products which offer a convenient way to receive quality protein balanced with carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals, all geared toward muscle development. These differ to straight protein powder supplements which are designed for use before and after exercise, rather than as a meal replacement.

Take sports supplements as a supplement rather than as the main nutrition source and use them to balance your whole regime, instead of making them the focus of your bodybuilding plan. They can help quicken the process of muscle building if used in moderation and with respect.

By Andrew Rayburn – While you might have the self-motivation to get your regular exercise routine done at home, you perhaps don’t have the space or the money for the equipment you’ll need for a comprehensive workout.

A lot of bodybuilders, weightlifters and exercise enthusiasts also attest to the fact that when they go to the gym, they are spurred on to push themselves that extra mile by either their exercise partners or the atmosphere the gym provides.

Another big advantage of training at a gym as opposed to at home is that once you’re there, you’ve got nothing to do but work out. No one can disturb or distract you, and you can get on with working towards your goals in peace and in a really motivational atmosphere.

The final pro about joining a gym is that you can choose what kind of gym you attend and what level of membership you buy. It really doesn’t have to mean spending a lot of money, and many gyms offer a get-out after your first three months is up. Some gyms offer a really basic service, but certainly do the job if that’s all you can afford.

If all you need is a room full of equipment and some like-minded people around you, then you can go for a more basic gym. Some of the bigger gyms have swimming pools, classes, personal training services, and even spas – so for those who like to wind down with a swim or a Jacuzzi, then these gyms will really keep your motivation up.

Wherever you’re based, get down and check out your local gym. Do your research – maybe talk to the guys in your local sports nutrition shop where they best like going, and check out the rest of this website for more detailed info. Think about what you want from your weight training program, and check out the gym’s facilities.

If, when you begin your search for the ideal gym, you don’t have anyone you can ask, the next best place to start looking is right here on the Internet. Whether you’re looking for Cambridgeshire gyms, Dublin gyms or gyms in Cheltenham – wherever you search for, you’ll find something near you. Get yourself on local internet forums and ask the other users there where they would recommend.

The more efficiently you train, the more strength you gain, the more muscle you gain. Simple. If you’re looking into becoming a bodybuilder or weightlifter, find out more about what’s known as ‘strength training’, under which heading come weightlifting, bodyweight exercises and machine exercises.

Weightlifting is probably the best of the three because it allows you to start off light and build gradually using barbells with exercises such as squats, overhead presses, bench presses, barbell rows & deadlifts. Starting off light and building base strength is important for preventing and avoiding injury. Over exertion at the wrong time has the potential to cause a lot of damage and could put you out of training for months.

Bodyweight exercises such as pull-ups, chin-ups and push-ups allow you to employ your own bodyweight as resistance. These exercises can be a hard one to start off with, however, if you’re not quite there with your body strength.

Machines balance the weight for you, making exercising with them easier and thus less effective than free weights or bodyweight exercises, and can cause injury due to forcing your body to move in an unnatural way – a danger which is especially acute when you’re lifting really heavy weights.

By Andrew Parker - Bodybuilding is an art form where you are sculpting and changing your body into a certain shape where all the muscles and sinews are defined and refined to such a point that they literally stand up to be counted.

Bodybuilding supplements, like protein powder, can help you to achieve the look you crave as they can boost your immune system, make you put on more muscle and help with muscle definition.

It is protein and protein powder that are so important in enhancing your performance. Even if you eat a lot of red meat and other protein-rich food, you will notice that you cannot get the right amount of protein without taking bodybuilding supplements. Whey protein helps boost your immune system as well as aiding your muscles to strengthen and grow. It also replaces all that is lost while you are working out, as muscles can be damaged as well as built up during bodybuilding.

If you suffer from sore muscles when you first start out bodybuilding, persevere and your muscles will adjust. This is because whey protein contains essential amino acids that act in the same way as painkillers.

Also, because it is a natural product, the body absorbs it more easily.

No bodybuilder can guarantee that what they eat and drink will contain the right amount of protein, nutrients, fat and calcium to lead a healthy lifestyle as well as pack on more muscle. This is where bodybuilding supplements come in because they can help in this pursuit. They can give you an increase in your levels of energy, more muscle mass and it will take you less time to recover after doing a work out at the gym.

Taking protein powder is one such way of helping you develop your body as to how you want it. It is made of a substance that occurs naturally in the body anyway, as do amino acids. Serious bodybuilders who take supplements are the ones who pack on the muscle quicker, gain weight faster in the right places and have more get-up-and-go to carry on training.

But you do still have to work out. The supplements will aid you in your training but are not the be-all and end-all. To get the best out of supplements, you must keep up those strenuous and well-timed workouts and you will find that you can train more frequently and harder because the supplements allow you to do this.
