Certainly one of the most exciting nutritional supplement companies to emerge in recent times is Species Nutrition. Founded by Dave Palumbo and Colette Nelson, this innovative enterprise has released some of the most carefully researched and scientifically advanced products currently available.
You will not find these products ‘hyped to the hilt’, nor will you find them advertised with diagrams that belong in a science fiction book. What you will find is state of the art nutrition combined with scientifically researched information. The result is a line of supplements, which deliver real life results rather than a ‘nice legs, shame about the face’ product.

Favre Hints Towards Retiring ‘Again’ After Seasonbr>

Nothing is forever, not even grisly, 39-year-old quarterbacks that still have enough youthful exuberance to challenge a second grader. When Brett Favre ‘un-retired’ over the summer and forced his way out of Green Bay, even he had to realize that he had one, maybe two years left in his right arm.
When the Jets made the trade for Favre in August, it came with no promises. That was the gamble that general manager had to make. To have the opportunity to bring in one of the best quarterbacks of all time – even a slower version – was too hard to pass up. The team had spent a ton of money in the offseason to upgrade the offensive line and entire defense, so to put all his eggs in one basket was not the most drastic of decisions.

Depot Testosterone is the first long-acting testosterone to be introduced to the market. It’s primary objective is the treatment of male hypogonadism. This is a condition where there is a reduced or absent secretion of testosterone from the testes. Decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, muscle loss and weakness and depression are all associated with hypogonadism. There is also an increased risk of developing osteoporosis.
Depot Testosterone is currently available under the brand name NEBIDO. It is designed to be injected every three months. Nebido contains Testosterone Undecanoate as its active ingredient. You may be familiar with this compound as it is also used in the oral steroid Andriol.

Yankees Unveil Their Latest Multi-Millionaires

One of the first things that CC Sabathia told the media on Thursday was that he got a “chill” when he said that he was a member of the New York Yankees and put on their hat. He also was sporting a pinstriped jersey with the number 52 on the back, which no doubt must have been at least what the size tag stated and still not baggy enough to hide his 311-pound girth.
For a free agent that did everything possible to find another taker closer to his northern California home, it would seem a bit of a farce that Sabathia would resort to the Yankee mystique as an attraction to inking a seven-year, $161 million contract.

Banned Diuretic Case Still Lingering; Next Up on Dec. 22

At some point, the five NFL players who used Star Caps are going to have to pay the piper. The NFL is going to have to enforce their anti-doping policy, as flawed as it may seem. In this day and age of ‘act before react,’ the league is going to have to make an example out of someone.
By having a Minnesota judge extend the injunction on the mandatory four game suspensions, the five players (Kevin and Pat Williams of Minnesota; Charles Grant, Duece McAllister and Will Smith of New Orleans) were able to participate in this past Sunday’s games and next weekend. The next court date is December 22.

Asking Brewers for $ in Cameron Deal an Embarrassment

On the heels of shelling out $243.5 million for two pitchers, the holdup in the Mike Cameron for Melky Cabrera deal is money. If you’re Milwaukee general manager Doug Melvin, how do you not want to projectile vomit on the other end of the telephone when Yankees counterpart Brian Cashman had the balls to ask for relief in a paltry 2009 salary of $10 million?
Apparently looking to cut corners, Cashman appears to be content on playing the waiting game with the Brewers, either them giving in or the Yankees including another slug - pitcher Kei Igawa - in the deal.

‘09 Show in Ohio Would Go a Long Way After Being Reinstated by IFBB

After battling for nearly three years to be reinstated by the IFBB, Lee Priest has decided to make his return to the stage at the Australian and New Zealand Pros instead of the Arnold Classic. That may come as a surprise to some people, since all three shows are within a week of one another and the Arnold is viewed as the next big thing after the Mr. Olympia contest.
Last year, Dexter Jackson scored a hat trick of all three shows in March and then topped it by also taking the Mr. O title. While this is not a scenario that Priest would be able to duplicate, the Arnold show is held in a much higher regard than either overseas shows. Being from Australia, perhaps Priest feels that his best chance at taking one of the championships - or at least placing in the top three for Olympia qualification purposes - is with minimal travel.

2009 Season Still On - For Now

The niche market that is the Arena Football League, which has been around as a spring gridiron alternative since 1987, may be a thing of the past. Although the league has released a statement indicating that their Board of Directors have voted not to suspend the 2009 season, the mere fact that this came up cannot be good for a sport that has always struggled to be accepted. Some of the owners voted to suspend the upcoming season while the league “formulates a new economic model.”
The AFL has yet to release a schedule and stated that the “Board will continue to meet regularly to examine any and all long-term structural improvement options for the AFL.” Sounds like the kiss if death.

Veteran Southpaw Far from his Former Self; Should Be Grateful

It’s hard to fault Andy Pettitte for trying to shake the Yankee tree for as much money as he can. With the organization throwing money around as if it grew on the proverbial tree, the 36-year-old figures this may be his last shot at cashing in. The way his second half went last year, he may be overestimating his market value by a large margin.
The Yanks are offering him $10 million for one year and Pettitte wants the $16 million he earned the past two seasons in the Bronx. A 14-14 mark with an ERA of 4.54 will not help his cause, especially when you consider that he went 2-7 in his last 11 starts.
In case Pettitte forgot, he did state all summer long that he wanted to pitch in the new Yankee Stadium and that there aren’t many teams burning up his phone line with offers. This is a chance for him to go out gracefully the way he wants to and make a nice payday on top of it.

Cashman Ups Only Legit Bid Out There for Overweight Lefty

At least there’s a lot to love about CC Sabathia, all 311 pounds of him at last check during the playoffs. When the Yankees ballooned their offer to the free agent to $161 million over seven years, that made it over $500,000 per pound, but who’s counting?
Yes, he was the best pitcher on the open market and did deserve an expensive, long-term contract. But even with that in mind, the only other deal on the table appeared to be from the Brewers, who tried to keep Sabathia in Milwaukee with a five-year, $100 million offer. While certainly no small potatoes, it was easily trumped by the Yankees’ original six-year, $140 million monster.
Sabathia did everything possible to find another taker closer to his northern California home. Neither the Dodgers, Angels or Athletics were ever serious players in the sweepstakes, and the Giants – who are still reeling from Barry Zito mistake – were rumored to have made a trivial offer, hoping for a huge hometown discount. Sabathia made it clear that he preferred the west coast and the National League, but also money was the main issue.
