If you would like to see yourself profiled here, please send us your story and photo to joe@musclesportmag.com.

We dare you to call Erica Dee a Tomboy. The 22-year old from Long Island, New York may have the credentials for that dubious distinction, but being schooled in kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu and wrestling make her a lethal weapon in high heels. Plus she’s drop-dead gorgeous.

“I’ve watched professional wrestling since the day I was born,” she said. “I can still remember being three years old and watching Brett “The Hitman” Hart with the WWF.” Most seven-year-old girls are playing with their Barbie dolls, but Erica took up classes to learn something a little bit different. “I joined Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing and trained there for over 11 years,” she recalled.

Choosing to not rest on her laurels, Erica later joined a wrestling school and began to learn the skills of her first love. “I went there for a year before it closed down,” Erica said. “Right now I’m at a new wrestling school training as a manager/valet.” Erica has put her skills to work as a member of Fight The World Wrestling as Lady “Diamond” Dee, the manager of Joey Ace, who just happens to be her real-life boyfriend.

With the recent launch of FTW‘s women’s division, the debut of Erica Dee “The Knockout” cannot be far behind. “I will pick up on my wrestling training this coming year with the hopes of getting some in-ring action. I also joined boxing and MMA and I hope to enter a fight very soon.”

During her day job, Erica works in an office at a pre-school and loves being around children. In her college days, Erica majored in Broadcast Journalism and contributed to their weekly newspaper. “I love to write,” she said,” so I hope to continue my education in the near future.”

Similar to the WWE’s CM Punk, Erica follows a Straight Edge lifestyle. “No smoking, drinking or drugs,” said Erica. “I stand very firm on that.”

Just one of the many positive traits possessed by this special young lady.

‘This is Your Magazine’ is merely one of the reasons why MuscleSport Mag is far and wide better than any other publication out there. What other media outlet features the up and coming athlete, the same as if he or she was a professional in their industry? This is the place to get your face and story out there, and who knows what opportunities may arise from that type of exposure?

With Dexter Jackson and Kai Greene winning the last two prominent titles in bodybuilding, it seemed that the worm started to turn as far as freaky mass taking home the biggest check. The Mr. Olympia contest has been dominated by size since Dorian Yates won his first Sandow in 1992, through the seven year-reign of The Shadow, eight years of Ronnie Coleman and two of Jay Cutler. But last September, the aesthetic Jackson edged out Cutler and a new precedent appeared to have been set. Bigger was not necessarily better.

Greene, while being bigger than Jackson, has the appearance of a smaller bodybuilder due to his narrow waist and small joints. He took home the Arnold Classic championship over the larger Victor Martinez and Branch Warren.

This year in Las Vegas, the best of the best will be on the stage at The Orleans Arena and amongst the much larger competition, Jackson will find it difficult to repeat. Not only will The Blade be facing the aforementioned Cutler, Martinez and Warren, but Markus Ruhl has recently announced that he will be bringing his monster build to the Olympia. Let’s not forget Phil Heath, who finished in third plce a year ago at his rookie O.

The 5’11″, nearly 300-pound German finished in third place at the New York Pro in May and originally intended on retiring from the sport. But as reported by Muscular Development, Ruhl has changed his mind and will be furthering his career. The 36-year-old will make his legions of fans extremely happy with this decision and brings great presence and character to the stage.

With an offseason weight that can get up to an amazing 340 pounds, Ruhl has a few ‘rules’ that he lives by. It was by no accident that he became the “Freakazoid,” and after hearing some of his training methods it will be no surprise.

Ruhl believes in straight sets using heavy free weights and not resting on his laurels. He believes that getting stronger and going heavier will build more size. As far as reps and sets go, he will go as heavy as he can for as low as four to six reps. Using this method, Ruhl can blow out 25 to 30 sets per body part without feeling that he is overtraining. He also trains to failure, something that he feels makes or breaks the growth spurt.

By hitting each muscle so hard, Ruhl only trains one body part per day. By doing so he can assure that each one will get the maximum effort.

Proper nutrition is just as important as training to Ruhl and he consumes approximately 7,000 calories per day, which includes 400 to 500 grams of protein. Even with all of these calories, Ruhl makes sure to keep his diet clean and it consists of chicken, beef, fish, rice and potatoes.

This may be his last hurrah so expect Ruhl to come in looking more massive than ever before. He will leave a lasting impression with size never seen before even more so than a top six placing.

Not resting on his laurels after winning the Arnold Classic less than two weeks ago, Kai Greene flew to the other side of the globe to stand in the winner’s circle once again, this time at the Australian Pro Grand Prix.

Other contestants who made the trek with Kai from Ohio to the ‘Land Down Under’ were Silvio Samuel and Toney Freeman, who finished in second and third place, respectively.

According to early reports out of Melbourne, the crowd in was fully behind Kai, especially when he performed his unique posing routine that he made an instant classic at the Arnold. He was called an “easy winner.”

A special part of the annual show in Australia is when the contestants walk into the crowd following the posedown, giving them a close-up view of the men they just cheered on. No doubt that Greene had more flashes going off in his face than anyone else present.

On a side note, Michael Kafalianos finished in fourth place in his professional debut and has qualified for the Mr. Olympia.

For a two-time Mr. Olympia winner, Jay Cutler has taken a lot of criticism over the years. Maybe it was because he unseated Ronnie Coleman, who had what was almost like a cult following with his eight straight wins, matching the record of Lee Haney. People said that Cutler was too thick in certain areas to be Mr. O, but that apparently is what the judges were looking for when you factor in the massive Coleman’s run.

Then when Cutler was unseated this past September by Dexter Jackson, the word was that the former champion did not even deserve second place.

There was even some talk before the Olympia that Cutler was possibly leaning towards retirement because he and his wife wanted to start a family. Perhaps if he did win, that may have been the case.

Not resting on his laurels, Cutler is looking to change things up in the hope of improving. According to an article on FlexOnline, he has been using Haney Rambod’s fst-7 training method since the beginning of December.

“I felt I needed change,” Cutler said in the article. “I want to emphasize my weaker bodyparts, and I felt since I was a volume trainer that the 7s would work best for me.”

Rambod plans to meet with Cutler a few times a month and has also trained Phil Heath, who finished third in his initial Olympia competition. Rambod feels that the Cutler and heath can both benefit from training together.

Going by Jackson’s victory, it is possible that the judges may be getting away from that ‘freaky’ or ‘blocky’ look, hence the reason for Cutler to get rounder in certain areas. With the mass that he already possesses, he can cut down slightly and tighten up the spots that have been knocked, such as his back and abdominal area.

If Cutler does in fact find himself in the winner’s circle again, he will become the first person to win back the Sandow after a defeat.
