“Brimstone” Ties the Knot with Longtime Fiancée Danielle Rivera

On October 11th. 2009, professional wrestler and actor William “Brimstone” Kucmierowski tied the knot with his love of almost eight years, Danielle Rivera in an intimate outdoor ceremony. William and Danielle said their “I Do’s” in front of their closest friends and family members in the lush gardens of the Crest Hollow Country Clublocated in Woodbury, New York which was officiated by Rabbi Jaimee Shalhevet. “Since the very beginning, it was love at first sight and for the entirety of our relationship, I’ve fallen in love with her again and again every single day! My wish came true now that I’ve finally married the girl of my dreams,” Brimstone said of his Sunday wedding to Rivera.

The bride carried a bouquet of black magic roses and wore a Maggie Sottero one-piece, corset and strapless gown embellished with an embroidered beaded motif comprised of Swarovski crystals. “The moment I laid my eyes on it, I just knew that it was the one,” Rivera has said about her gown. The groom wore a classic black Chaps Ralph Lauren tuxedo with an ivory shirt, vest and bow-tie.

The reception followed in the lavish Plaza Room overlooking the reception hall’s beautiful amenities including endless gardens, gazebo and waterfall. Although many offers were made, the wedding was organized by the bride herself who enjoyed making all the arrangements sans event planner with her mother Susan Rivera.

Kucmieroswki’s 7-year-old son, Dylan served as ringbearer, 12-year-old daughter, Samantha as a junior bridesmaid, and 2-year-old, Halina James (daughter of America’s Next Top Model’s Claire Unabia) served as the flower-girl.

These two lovebirds are clearly meant to be. When asked about her groom following their wedding Rivera said: “I still can’t believe we are finally married! I love him more today than yesterday and I’ll love him more tomorrow than I do today.” A huge congratulations to the happy couple!

Taylor Boyd Shined at Bill Grant Classic

At the 2008 Bill Grant Classic, the weather was not what you would call perfect for an outdoor event. The rains came and poured down on the assembled crowd but it did not damper their enthusiasm, especially when one of the guest posers took the stage.

Taylor Boyd looks like a mixture between a heel professional wrestler and the guy chasing teenagers through the woods in a slasher movie. The 6’3″, 300-pound New Jersey native put on a show with make-up and costume props. The NPC competitor has three contest wins so far in his young career, the last being the 2008 NPC New Jersey Suburban in the super heavyweight division.

It came as no surprise when Boyd said that his favorite body part to train were his 31-inch legs. “During them (leg workouts), you get so much overall muscle growth it’s incredible,” he said on his official website, www.taylorboyd.net. The mass monster further stated that he doesn’t change things up too much when it comes time to get ready for a show.

“My training style is heavy compound movements for offseason and contest prep.”

He does drop down to approximately 260 pounds for a competition, still nothing to sneeze at. In an era of bodybuilding where freaky size is the ‘in’ thing, Boyd fits the bill and surely made an impression in Pennsylvania last summer.

GET A VOICE

Summit Lane and Abbey Lane Elementary Schools of the Levittown School District were proud to kick off their first “Get A Voice” rallies on January 7th and January 8th. “Get A Voice” is a language-based character education program developed to address name calling and negative language in schools. Each school had a rally that was a stimulating star-studded event meant to elicit excitement in the students about the program and its values.

At each school the assembly was coordinated by that school’s “Get A Voice” Committee. Each school was pleased to welcome Brimstone, a professional wrestler; Jose Hernandez Jr., from HBO’s Oz; former America’s Next Top Model contestant, Claire Unabia, the NY Dragons arena football player, Jonathan Hamm and Bumblefoot, lead guitarist from Guns N Roses. The celebrity guests spoke to the students about the importance of positive language. Councilman Gary Hughes, Supervisor Kate Murray and Founder of the ‘Get a Voice´ program, Dr. Laurie Mandel, also showed their support to Summit Lane and Abbey Lane Students during the rallies.

Each school committee is planning lessons and events throughout the school year to further implement this meaningful program.
