Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair Appearance Trumps Hulk Hogan’s on TNA
- Updated: January 4, 2010
Wrestling fans worldwide were highly anticipating the three-hour live “TNA iMPACT!” on Monday, January 4. Ever since the press conference in New York City – what seems like ages ago – starring none other than Hulk Hogan, the secondary grappling organization has made strides. This all the while without nary more than a mention of the most popular wrestler of all time.
While the announcers opened the show pumping up the much-anticipated inaugural appearance of The Hulkster, the fireworks started without waiting for the Venice Beach native. Former WWE heavyweight champion Jeff Hardy, who was let go by Vince McMahon following his arrest for drug possession, came down through the crowd and mixed it up with Homicide.
If that wasn’t enough, moments later another former champion shocked the live and television audience when “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair exited the limo reportedly bringing Hogan to the venue. After greeting a few well-woshers, he made his way to TNA champion A.J. Styles’ dressing room. Stay tuned.
