FTW Pro Wrestling March of War Results

Another great card took place at Center Island Sports in Ronkonkoma, New York on Saturday, March 20 with Fight the World wrestling’s “March of War.” TNA’s Homicide was in the house and his match was just one of the evening’s highlights.

*FTW champion The Grim Reefer defeated Lenn Oddity to retain his title. Due to a stipulation in the match, Oddity will be forced to retire as a result of being handed the defeat – Reefer was able to get the pin following interference from BQE partner Jay Lover. As Reefer, Lover and Tommy Buddz were celebrating, the two turned on Reefer. Lover then told the crowd that he helped Reefer win because he wants him and his title.

*In the FTW Tag team Championship bout, champions Jay Lover and Tommy Buddz were victorious in a three-way elimination match versus the teams of Bill Carr and Spaz and Even Karagius and Vinny the Guido – The hardcore highlight of the evening, this match involved ladders, chairs and even cheese graters. Spaz, a late entrant in the match when Carr had no partner, actuallly held his own for a while before succumbing to the brutality of the contest.

*Homicide defeated Jimmy Jact Cash – This was a continuation from a few months back when Homicide was present at an FTW show and called out Cash, who said that he would only fight the TNA star if there was a payday for him. “They don’t call me Jimmy Jact Check’s in the Mail,” he said. The pompous heel got what he wished for but the result was not what he had in mind. A back and forth affair was highlighted by Homicide suplexing Cash onto a line of chairs.

*The Rockstar defeated Earl Cooter – Gaining the upper hand early on, The Rockstar was unable to maintain his domination and Cooter turned the tables to take control. The battle then moved to the floor with the Rockstar regaining control. Cooter then was able to hit a kamikaze and went for a moonsault, which the Rockstar was able to avoid and turn the missed finisher into a pin.

*Joey Ace defeated Wes Draven – Ace came out and introduced his new manager, Lady Diamond Dee, who interjected herself into the match on multiple occasions. Her last proved to be what Ace needed for the win. With Draven perched on the top rope, Dee jumped up on the apron to argue with the referee and shook the top rope, causing Draven to hit the canvas. Ace hit his finisher and that was all she wrote.

*Balls Mahoney and Big Jim Sullivan fought to a no contest – As the former FTW champ and Sullivan duked it out, Jake “The Snake” Roberts appeared on the video screen and seemed to be enticing Mahoney from their tag team match back at the “Darkest Days” card. Mahoney had a hard time concentrating on the match and went backstage looking for Roberts. This set up a very interesting scenario for next month.

*Angel Ortiz defeated Spyral to earn the final spot in the ‘Road to Gold Rumble’ next month.

The next event will be “Road to Gold” and is going to be held on Saturday, April 24 at Center Island Sorts in Ronkonkoma. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. For more information, visit www.ftwprowrestling.com.
