Michael Kefalianos Wins IFBB Mr. Europe Grand Prix, Johnnie Jackson Runner-Up (Full Scorecard)

After knocking at the door and making strides of late, Michael Kefalianos finally was awarded with his first pro win in Madrid, Spain at the IFBB Mr. Europe Grand Prix. Johnnie O. Jackson was unable to make it two in a row (following his win at the FIBO Power Pro in Germany a week ago) and settled for second place.

Baitollah Abbaspour took third, with Feras Saied, Sergey Shelestov and Daniel Toth rounding out the top six. Gustavo Baddell had a much better showing than he did at the Arnold Classic and finished seventh, one spot ahead of Brandon Curry, who has to be disappointed with his showing. On a bit of a good streak, ‘The Prodigy’ should have been able to do more damage here and possibly even take home a winner’s check.

This was certainly a line-up that had a few solid competitors, but hardly one that included any single name that stood out in the crowd. An attainable win for someone who with the potential of Curry, who will have to shake this one off and come back strong if he is to qualify for another Mr. Olympia.

Here is the official scorecard:
