IFBB Chicago Pro Wings of Strength Preview
- Updated: July 1, 2013
The Fourth of July may have already passed by the time the weekend arrives, but the IFBB will be providing plenty of fireworks in the form of the Wings of Strength show in Chicago. Five categories will be on the schedule on July 6 with Olympia qualifications hanging in the balance.
In the men’s open bodybuilding, both Lionel Beyeke and Roelly Winklaar will be looking for the win and automatic bid to the industry’s top show in September. Regardless of what other shows they do following this one, the Windy City provides the best route to Las Vegas.
A familiar face will be up on stage here, but it will be along side the rest of the men’s 212 and under line-up for a change. Craig Richardson will drop down in bodyweight and it may pay off for the veteran. Competitors like Guy Cisternino and Tricky Jackson will have something to say about that.
Women’s bodybuilding has not been included as often as in the past this year, but the ladies will be present in Chi-town. 16 of them will hope to be standing last for a shot at Iris Kyle. Figure and women’s physique round out the rest of the categories.
Here are the official line-up cards:
