Los Angeles, CA – IFBB Professional Bodybuilder DENISE MASINO builds a team of mud run warriors to raise money for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Last year Denise aka Miss Fit and her team of 17 heroes raised over $16,000 for St Jude Children’s Hospital making the “MissFits 4 Life Team” the top fundraising St Jude Warrior Dash team for the year and Denise the top individual fund raiser for 2012. This year Denise and the MissFits 4 Life are gearing up to do it all again. The Warrior Dash is a 5k mud run course with over 12 obstacles that includes mud, walls, cargo nets, barbed wire and fire. The team, sponsored by VPX nutrition will train for the next 5 weeks to prepare for this run–many of them challenging and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zone for the very first time in hopes of helping the kids of St. Jude.
The goal of this mission is twofold says Denise. “I want to help encourage people to get off the couch and to challenge themselves to train to improve their own fitness while having fun doing it, and I want to raise as much money as we can to help kids get healthy. Anyone interested in information on joining or sponsoring our team is welcome.
