2014 IFBB New Zealand Pro Preview
- Updated: March 12, 2014
There will two IFBB pro categories taking the stage in Auckland at the New Zealand Pro and both are important as far as setting things up once the Olympia rolls around. In both the 212 and bikini divisions, the top competitors will be looking to make a statement and prove that they will be a threat in September.
With a short line-up of only four, Jose Raymond is the odds-on favorite to cash in his automatic Olympia qualification. At the Arnold Classic, the Boston Mass was not at his best and finished fifth.
Ashley Kaltwasser has been on a great run and has taken the 2013 Bikini Olympia, 2014 Bikini International and the Australian Pro Grand Prix. But there will be two women looking to avenge some near misses, most recently last weekend in Melbourne. Stacey Alexander and India Paulino placed second and third, respectively, and can slide up a place or two if Kaltwasser is even slightly off.
