2014 NFL Preview: AFC South

Viewed as the weakest division in the league, the AFC South figures to improve slightly overall from a year ago, when only one team finished .500 or above. Yes, the Colts will run away with first place again but expect a little feistiness out of the Titans and a bounce back campaign from the Texans.

2013: 11-5, Prediction: 10-6

Andrew Luck is a bona-fide star and has weapons around him, especially if Trent Richardson can be what was expected of him when he was drafted by Cleveland and then brought into Indy.

2013: 7-9, Prediction: 8-8

Great move by signing Ken Whisenhunt as the head coach and this team does have a few players that know how to win. An unsettled quarterback situation is not ideal, but an offensive-minded coach will get the ball moving regardless of who is over center.

2013: 2-14, Prediction: 7-9

A 14-game consecutive losing streak will not be the case again this year and the nightmare that was 2013 is long gone. The defense will be exciting with J.J. Watt and number one overall draft pick JaDeveon Clowney wreaking havoc, but is Ryan Fitzpatrick that much of an improvement over Matt Schaub?

2013: 4-12, Prediction: 3-13

This is a bad team in practically every facet of the game but they do have one position that seems to be headed in the right direction and it is the most important one. The Jags have Blake Bortles and he will be called on once Chad Henne falters.
