Wednesday Night Football: FXFL 6-Game Inaugural Season Kicks Off On 10/15

The Fall Experimental Football League, or FXFL, is a professional football league, which serves as a developmental platform for players, coaches and referees. Our business model places an emphasis on local marketing, cost containment and the utilization of smaller venues to better engage the fan base.

In 2014, the FXFL’s initial membership will be comprised of four teams playing a six-week regular season schedule. Regular season games will be televised and played on weeknights to avoid scheduling conflicts with the NFL and collegiate football.Players can be signed at any time by an NFL franchise.FXFL TEAMSBrooklyn Bolts, Boston Brawlers, Omaha Mammoths, Blacktips (traveling team)RULE DIFFERENCES

1 – PAT attempts from the 17-yard line

2 – Kickoffs from the 25-yard line

3 – Eight players on receiving team must line up between 35 and 45-yard lines

4 – Field goals must be attempted outside the hash marks
