MusclePapa Presents: NPC Figure Competitor Loni Pfeil
- Updated: March 13, 2015
Please share something of your background and how it relates to your current interest in fitness and modeling.
I have always been athletic I took weight lifting in high school as an elective instead of the other basic courses and have been hooked with weight training ever since. I used to do posters for Coors light and mg64 but since then I have taken a turn more towards fitness modeling. I am a former Coors light and MG64 model so I feel that got me interested more in modeling.
Share with us a bit about your contest history.
I got started back in 09 and did a couple smaller shows just to get started where I placed in the top 2 and top 4. In Tim Gardners Hurricane Bay I placed 2nd and Shannon Deys show the Ft Lauderdale Cup I got 4th place. After that I took a break and came back in 2012 at the Kentucky Muscle where I took 2nd place out of 22 girls with an IFBB judging panel and the largest show I had ever competed in. Then I went on to Junior Nationals 2013 where I placed in the top 10 out of almost 40 girls.
What motivates and or inspires you to workout, diet and compete in fitness? Which part do you have the most difficulty with?
What motivates me is always striving to be a better version of myself and to help and inspire others along the way, also to prove that you can do anything you put your mind to. The hardest part for me sometimes is body image, which I think we all struggle with.
What goals do you have in the sport and do they relate to the rest of your life? My goals in the fitness industry are to not stop until I can say that I am a pro athlete and to help as many people as I possibly can when it comes to all areas in fitness and getting healthy. This relates to my life because my passion is to help others. I specialize in nutrition and personal training. Becoming pro is just to prove to myself that I can… Not to have a “title.”
What do you think is the most misunderstood aspect of your lifestyle? The most misunderstood aspect of my life is definitely the way I eat. I eat all day long and take my food everywhere with me. It’s not something I have to do it’s something I want to do and for many reasons.
What is the most comical or unusual comment someone has made to you? How did you deal with it?
The most comical comment someone has made to me that stands out is someone once said that I must have super human powers on one of my photos so, I bought a super hero shirt and took a selfie with it!:) haha I love the comments and I always try to interact with everyone.
Share anything additional that you would like people to know about you.
