This is one of the most unintelligent videos I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. There are countless articles that will describe to you where we, “crazy vegans” get our protein. I am an athlete, and I can tell you from personal experience, I have never felt better in the weight room or in the pool. Now, seeing as how you obviously have not properly educated yourself on vegan diets, you must also not believe swimming is a sport. I have the leisure to eat however many calories I want, whenever I want. I have the ability to eat all the fresh fruits and vegetables I could ever want. I get protein from all of the fruits and vegetables, on top of my almond milk, hemp powder, beans, dark greens, and if you can even believe, plant-derived meat alternatives! I know it may seem crazy to want to not harm other beings, to try and harm others as little as possible, but as a vegan, I can eat the same things that you can without killing anyone. If you really think that consuming animal products is beneficial to your health, then you are truly a close-minded individual.

Katherine. nobody is denying that people can live on vegan diets. But the protein in a vegan diet doesn’t include all of the amino acids our bodies require. So when it comes to basic sustenance, vegan diets are fine. For athletics or optimal effective muscle gain, recovery, and performance however, vegan diets are sub-par. I think my statements are more centrist, and your’s are more close-minded. I find that most vegans(especially the lady vegans) are among the most close-minded people I have ever known. Facts don’s seem to hold any weight when arguing with a vegan. Grow up, and understand, nobody give a fuck what you eat.
