NFL Attendance Will Plummet in 2018
- Updated: November 5, 2017
Stadiums around the league have had dwindling crowds so far this season, but expect it to get much worse next year. The NFL players’ ‘take a knee’ protest has angered many fans and TV ratings are way down, as well. But because the expensive tickets were purchased months ago before this issue took on a life ion its own, only a percentage of fans have decided to stay away on game day. But once those season tickets renewal notices arrive in the mail and this situation is still hanging over the NFL, expect a good portion of fans to keep their money.
Millions upon millions of dollars will be lost and perhaps then the commissioner and owners will come to their senses and pass a league-wide mandate that the players must stand for our National Anthem without any fists raised or arms locked.
