Juliana Malacarne NOT Competing at Olympia
- Updated: July 17, 2018
Four-time Women’s Physique Division Olympia champion Juliana Malacarne will not defend her title in September and the reason is that she has become dissatisfied with the direction that the division has gone in. A very interesting development, indeed, and this is a subject that will not go away any time soon.
When a reigning champion bows out because of the judging – the same people who have rewarded her, mind you – because they allegedly expressed a desire to crown a more hard and shredded look moving forward and she did not want to take it to that extreme, many questions arise that the fans should want answers for.
Pro bodybuilder Crystal “Wildfyre” Anthony speaks from personal experience and opines on this situation in this episode of “Spreading Like Wildfyre.”
OLD SKOOL IRON will be the title sponsor of our 2018 Olympia Weekend coverage September 13 – 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The mSm Family will be out in full force once again this year and we will be bringing you live broadcasts and interviews from the Olympia Expo, as well as from our ‘home base,’ The Alligator Bar at The Orleans Hotel and Casino, the official host hotel of Olympia Weekend.
We are flying in on Thursday and the coverage will kick off right away with previews of the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding. Many familiar faces – a number of them the competitors themselves – stay at The Orleans and we are going to be bringing you all of the action from Sin City.
