Alliance of American Football Signs QB Aaron Murray

The Alliance of American Football announced today that quarterback Aaron Murray has signed a player contract with his rights allocated to The Atlanta Legends. Murray, along with the 51 other quarterbacks — and counting, who have signed Alliance contracts, will be eligible for the “Protect or Pick” Quarterback Draft on November 27, 2018 in Las Vegas. The live show will air at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on CBS Sports Network.

Murray was a fifth-round NFL draft choice of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014 after his record-breaking career in Athens, Georgia. The Tampa, Florida native played with the Chiefs for two seasons from 2014-15 working with Legends head coach Brad Childress. Murray also played for the Philadelphia Eagles (2016), Arizona Cardinals (2016) and Los Angeles Rams (2017) during his stint in the NFL.
