WWE vs AEW Why WWE Extreme Rules Dominated AEW Fight For the Fallen

Just like many other competitors over the years, WWE has found a new one in All Elite Wrestling or AEW. While on one hand WWE Results were becoming more and more predictable as fans started to lose interest in the franchise, AEW couldn’t have come into the race at a better time. WWE News and recent interviews of several WWE Superstars especially Seth Rollins suggest that WWE has always been confident to dominate over All Elite Wrestling. Although the recent successful reception of the All Elite Wrestling did put WWE under some pressure.

But all specks of doubts, howsoever tiny, were all put to rest with WWE Extreme Rules’ domination over Fight for the Fallen. Some of the success of WWE can be attributed to the Undertaker’s phenomenal return but most of it was the result of some exceptional writing from the WWE writers. They were able to spin up better feuds and a more exciting storylines than Fight for the Fallen, as it was pretty much evident from the AEW Results. But on the other hand, it would be ridiculous to expect that AEW could have possibly wound up with a better storyline considering it’s still a new franchise.

The Undertaker surely played a major role in sky rocketing the ratings beyond doubt. The Undertaker delivered one of his best performances in ages at Extreme Rules. The Undertaker was greeted “You Still Got It” chants from the Philadelphia faithful. At Extreme Rules, we saw The Dead Man team up with Roman Reigns to take on McMahon and Drew McIntyre. But Shane and McIntyre receiving a key assist from the disrespectful Elias, who was The Undertaker’s first victim upon return. Despite all that The Undertaker nailed a perfect Tombstone on Shane to see his team home.

The next AEW pay-per-view is going to be AEW All Out. The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) All Out is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view event being produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Scheduled to take place at the Sears Centre Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois on August 31, 2019 the event is supposed to also be the coronation of the inaugural AEW World Champion along with the unveiling of the AEW Women’s World Championship belt. Maybe this will be all AEW needs to boost its ratings up and over WWE.
