Hideki Matsui to Host Baseball Clinic for Children on 9/14 in Staten Island, N.Y.

The Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation today announced that it will host a baseball clinic for children in the morning of Saturday, on September 14, in Staten Island, NY. Hideki Matsui will attend the clinic and offer instruction to participants, who range in age from 11 to 12 years old. All of the children participate in local youth baseball leagues.
Media are welcome to cover the clinic, but are kindly asked to refrain from announcing details in advance of the event.
Founded in April 2015, the Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation has hosted baseball clinics for children in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, San Francisco and Japan.
Date/Location*: Saturday, September 14, in Staten Island, NY.

Participants: 35-40 children, ages 11-12 years, who play in local youth baseball leagues
