Fuck Buck, Aikman & the BLMFL

FOX Sports

A new low was reached on Sunday for the National Football League, and one that goes against their defense for a previous despicable act. During a FOX broadcast, their ‘A-team’ of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman had the audacity to mock a pre-game military flyover following the playing of our National Anthem (unknown if any of the players knelt in protest) with a banter that they are apparently saying was not meant for the television audience and they were caught with a ‘hot mic.’

Here’s the exchange (and embedded video below); you be the judge:

AIKMAN: That’s a lot of jet fuel just to do a little flyover.

BUCK: That’s your hard-earned money and tax dollars at work.

AIKMAN: That stuff ain’t happening with (a) Kamala/Biden ticket; I’ll tell you that right now, partner.”

Before we get into filleting these two, let’s remind everyone what the protests were supposed to be about. In 2016, then-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick started the trend of taking a knee during the National Anthem to protest the treatment of blacks by the police. The players and their supporters were adamant about the reason for this and that it had NOTHING to do with the military nor the American flag. Kaepernick even made it known that a friend of his who is in the military made the suggestion after he (Kaepernick) originally chose to protest by sitting on the bench.

It was an anti-police, not anti-military protest, guys!

The NFL initially tried to maintain their dignity by ‘suggesting’ that players should stand for the anthem. But as the years went on, they went completely in the other direction – please the black community, even at the expense of once-enforced uniform violations and handing over millions of dollars to please them. Perhaps commissioner Roger Goodell figured if they piled it to support Black Lives Matter – a police-hating Marxist organization that has caused civil unrest throughout our nation – it would make it even more obvious that this had nothing to do with the military.

The foot-in-the-mouth ‘mistake’ by Aikman and Buck shows everyone what we knew all along – the NFL is not only anti-law enforcement and anti-white, for that matter, it is also anti-patriotism, anti-military and anti-America. The league supports groups that go against all of our values and to mock a sign of patriotism while the ratings have reflected the way much of the country feels is hopefully another nail in the coffin for what was once proudly called ‘America’s Game.’
