It’s almost upon us and the 2021 Olympia Weekend is sure to be one filled with plenty of excitement after another year of pandemic-restricted events. Case in point, last weekend’s Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio was not only over six months later than usual, but included only four categories and no expo. It has been a very arduous task throughout the entire industry for nearly two years, albeit for competitors, promoters and the media alike.

But that all goes away at least for a long weekend in Orlando with a full schedule that includes 11 pro categories, a press conference, Meet the Olympians, a full size expo that has been rechristened the Olympia World Fitness Festival, the International Sports Hall of Fame ceremony, the Amateur Olympia, a victory gala and seminar. We are arriving in Florida on Wednesday, October 6 and will be staying at the Hyatt Regency, the host hotel last year and one of two this time around (the Rosen Centre will also be a host hotel). By the time we pack up and fly back to New York late Sunday, there will be plenty to cover on the next set of Instagram Live broadcasts.
