Olympia Day 1 – We Arrive in Orlando

Olympia Weekend 2021 is upon us and The mSm Family is chomping at the bit to get going. Because of the pandemic, the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding is actually occurring only 10 months after last year’s, which was not only delayed until December from September, but also moved from Las Vegas to Orlando. Everything went so smoothly – even with the aforementioned changes occurred at the 11th hour – that the promoters decided to hold it once again in the Sunshine State and only a few weeks later than the usual mid-September time frame.

So we arrive into town on Wednesday, October 6 and on tap is the Amateur Olympia prejudging and finals at the Orange County Convention Center West (Chapin Theater). We will be staying at the initial host hotel – the Hyatt Regency – just as we did in 2020. The rooms went so fast that a second host hotel was added, the Rosen Centre – and everything will be right there within short walking distance. Both the press conference and Meet the Olympians take place on Thursday.
