mSm Road Trip – Ohio State vs. Toledo NCAA Football

Picryl

We will be hitting the road again this weekend to bring you some college football live from ‘The Horseshoe’ when the Ohio State Buckeyes host the Toledo Rockets for an in-state, out-of-conference match-up between two undefeated teams. With both squads headed into the game at 2-0, it may prove to be more of an interesting contest than what the nay-sayers quipped when the schedules were first released and the line was established.

A 34-point favorite, OSU (ranked third in the nation) has been dominant in the early going and has given up one lone touchdown so far in 2022. So they should be sky high in this Saturday prime time FOX national game. Their front seven must be licking their chops watching the film of Toledo’s less-than-stellar offensive line.

Being the team to beat in the Mid-American Conference may not transcend well when UT visits a Big Ten juggernaut, and their 92-10 combined points for/against – as impressive as that may be – will look much different after this Week 3 match-up. But they have started the season 2-0 for the first time since 2017 and last faced OSU in 2011 and fell short in a tight one; the Buckeyes had to make a stop with 48 seconds left to preserve a 27-22 with their end zone a mere 16 yards behind them.

Expect OSU to remain undefeated but Toledo to keep it closer than the high double-digit spread.
