The United Football League has announced a pair of trades involving four teams and multiple quarterbacks, signaling early-season roster adjustments across the league.
Stallions Acquire Dorian Thompson-Robinson in Deal with Orlando
The Birmingham Stallions have acquired quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson from the Orlando Storm in exchange for quarterback Matt Corral and defensive end Amani Bledsoe.
Thompson-Robinson, originally selected in the January UFL Draft, has appeared in one game this season. A former fifth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in the 2023 NFL Draft, he starred at UCLA, where he became the program’s all-time leader in total offense, completions, total touchdowns, passing yards, and touchdown passes.
Corral, who started the first four games for Birmingham this season, has thrown for 768 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions, while also contributing on the ground. He previously spent time in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings.
Bledsoe recorded 13 tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss this season with the Stallions after previously contributing with the Dallas Renegades and multiple NFL teams.
DC Defenders Acquire Jason Bean from Louisville
In a separate trade, the DC Defenders have acquired quarterback Jason Bean from the Louisville Kings in exchange for quarterback Mike DiLiello.
Bean has completed 58-of-122 passes for 819 yards, with four touchdowns and one interception this season, while also adding mobility with 63 rushing yards.
A former standout at the University of Kansas, Bean earned MVP honors in the 2023 Guaranteed Rate Bowl and previously spent time with the Indianapolis Colts organization.
DiLiello appeared in seven games over the past two seasons for DC, throwing for two touchdowns in 2025 while also contributing as a runner. He played collegiately at Austin Peay, where he threw for more than 5,600 yards and 49 touchdowns over his final two seasons.
