American Soccer Club New York Unveils “America 250” Jersey Patch for 2026 Season
American Soccer Club New York has unveiled a special “America 250” jersey patch that the Fighting Tomcats will wear throughout the 2026 National Premier Soccer League season, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The commemorative logo will also appear across official team merchandise as part of the club’s celebration of this historic milestone.
Club Honors America’s 250th Anniversary
“In 2026, we play for more than ourselves—we play for our country,” said Managing Partner and General Manager Jim Kilmeade. “This crest represents our nation’s past, reflects our present, and shows our commitment to the future we’re building together as a club and community.”
The special edition patch is designed to showcase pride in both country and club, tying the Fighting Tomcats’ identity to a significant moment in American history.
Patch to Debut at Season Opener
ASC New York will debut the “America 250” patch during its 2026 season opener on Saturday, May 2, when the club hosts the New York Shockers at Mitchel Athletic Complex.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., marking the start of a season dedicated to honoring the nation’s 250-year legacy.

“We are proud to dedicate the 2026 NPSL season to celebrating America’s 250th birthday,” Kilmeade added. “We invite fans to join us as we honor this milestone and carry that spirit onto the pitch all season long.”
