United Football League Announces Week 9 Players of the Week
The United Football League has announced its Week 9 Players of the Week, recognizing standout performances from quarterback Jalen Morton, linebacker Darien Butler, and kicker Tanner Brown.

Jalen Morton Sparks Columbus Comeback Victory
Making his first start of the season, quarterback Jalen Morton helped lead Columbus to a dramatic 36-29 comeback victory and the Aviators’ third win of the year.
Morton completed 14-of-30 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 96 rushing yards and another score on 13 carries.
Trailing late in the game, Morton orchestrated a clutch 91-yard scoring drive, finishing it with a rushing touchdown before connecting with wide receiver Keke Chism on the game-tying two-point conversion.
Darien Butler Leads Orlando Defense
Linebacker Darien Butler anchored another strong defensive effort as Orlando improved to a league-best 7-2 record with a victory over the defending champion DC Defenders.
Butler totaled 11 tackles, one tackle for loss, and a pass breakup, helping Orlando continue its impressive inaugural season push toward the playoffs.
Tanner Brown Continues Record-Setting Season
For the second consecutive week, Louisville kicker Tanner Brown earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors after another clutch performance.
Brown connected on all three field goal attempts, including a 54-yarder, while also converting both extra points in Louisville’s win that kept the team’s playoff hopes alive.
The standout kicker also set a new UFL single-season record by improving to 25-of-28 on field goals this season.
