Orlando Storm Quarterback Jack Plummer Named 2026 UFL Most Valuable Player
The United Football League has announced that Orlando Storm quarterback Jack Plummer has been named the 2026 UFL Most Valuable Player following a record-setting season that helped lead the expansion franchise to the league’s best regular-season record.
Plummer becomes the third quarterback to win the league’s top individual honor, joining Bryce Perkins of the Michigan Panthers (2025) and Adrian Martinez of the Birmingham Stallions (2024).
The 2026 UFL MVP was selected by a panel consisting of league executives, team executives, coaches, players, media members, and broadcast partners. Voting was based on performances throughout the recently completed 10-game regular season.
“It is an incredible honor to be named the 2026 UFL Most Valuable Player,” said Plummer. “While my name may be on this award, it truly belongs to so many people who have helped me along this journey. Football is the ultimate team sport, and this recognition would not have been possible without my teammates.”
Plummer also credited Orlando Storm head coach Anthony Becht for helping him reach new heights during his first season with the franchise.
“I also want to extend a special thank you to Coach Becht,” Plummer said. “His leadership, trust, and belief in me have had a tremendous impact on my development as a player and as a person.”
Historic Season Leads Orlando to Top Seed
Plummer guided the Orlando Storm to an impressive 8-2 record during the franchise’s inaugural season, securing the No. 1 overall seed entering the UFL playoffs.
The veteran quarterback led the UFL in:
- Passing yards (2,188)
- Completions (195)
- Quarterback rating (104.1)
He completed 65 percent of his passes while throwing 17 touchdown passes and just one interception all season.
Under Plummer’s leadership, Orlando finished with the league’s top passing offense, averaging 208.3 passing yards per game.
Record-Breaking Efficiency
One of the most impressive aspects of Plummer’s MVP campaign was his ability to protect the football.
He established a new UFL record by throwing 255 consecutive pass attempts without an interception, showcasing elite decision-making and consistency throughout the season.
Plummer also displayed his versatility as a dual-threat quarterback, accounting for touchdowns in every game during the regular season while throwing at least one touchdown pass in nine contests.
He completed 75 percent or more of his passes in three games and recorded multiple three-touchdown performances, including victories over the Louisville Kings and DC Defenders.
When Plummer threw two or more touchdown passes in a game, Orlando posted a 5-1 record.
Signature MVP Moment
Plummer’s defining performance came in Week 8 when he earned UFL Offensive Player of the Week honors after helping Orlando clinch a playoff berth with a victory over the Dallas Renegades.
In that game, he completed 24 of 36 passes for 238 yards and added one of the most memorable plays of the season — a spectacular 71-yard touchdown run.
The play stood as the longest run from scrimmage in the UFL for most of the season and remains the longest run by a quarterback in the league during 2026.
Coach Becht Praises MVP Quarterback
“Jack personifies exactly what an elite UFL quarterback should look like,” said Orlando Storm head coach Anthony Becht. “His leadership, his ability to process information, and his ability to make plays at any moment made him the most valuable player in the UFL.”
Becht added that Plummer maximized his opportunity in the UFL while producing one of the finest quarterback seasons in league history.
MVP Honor Caps Remarkable First Season
Plummer’s MVP award serves as the latest milestone in a remarkable inaugural season for the Orlando Storm franchise.
After leading the league in passing, guiding Orlando to the best record in the UFL, and setting new league standards for efficiency and production, Plummer now enters the postseason as both the league’s Most Valuable Player and one of the key figures in the Storm’s pursuit of a United Bowl championship.
He will be formally recognized during the UFL Awards presented by Dynasty Financial Partners as part of United Bowl week festivities in Washington, D.C.
