The New York Mets blew this disappointment of a team up at the trade deadline and didn’t do too bad overall, all things considered, by getting some kind of a return on a bunch of players who would not fit into their plans this and next season. We dissect each deal and also discuss the many holes they need to fill in the offseason. This will not be a competitive team in 2027 and they should recognize that now to utilize the proper strategy during the winter.
