UFL Pipeline Continues to Thrive as 30 Players Sign NFL Contracts This Offseason

The United Football League’s reputation as a pipeline to the NFL continues to grow, with 30 players from 2026 UFL rosters signing NFL contracts since the season concluded and 65 UFL and spring football alumni now under contract entering NFL training camps.

Since July 23 alone, 31 UFL players have either worked out for or signed with NFL clubs, highlighting another productive stretch for the league’s player development system.

Nine Players Sign NFL Contracts in One Week

Nine UFL standouts earned NFL contracts over the past week, including four signings on the same day:

• • Cam Gill (Louisville Kings) – Carolina Panthers
  • DJ Miller (Columbus Aviators) – Buffalo Bills
  • Kyon Barrs (Houston Gamblers) – Carolina Panthers
  • Peter Bowden (Michigan Panthers) – Los Angeles Chargers
  • Cam Camper (Orlando Storm) – New York Jets
  • Hudson Clark (Birmingham Stallions) – Tennessee Titans
  • Alex Cook (Birmingham Stallions) – Los Angeles Rams
  • Quinton Newsome (Houston Gamblers) – Tennessee Titans
  • Kaden Prather (Louisville Kings) – Green Bay Packers

  Each player’s UFL club retains their league rights should they return to the UFL.

  

• More Top Talent Drawing NFL Interest

  Several of the UFL’s biggest stars also participated in NFL workouts during the past week, including:

  • 2026 UFL MVP Jack Plummer (Orlando Storm)
  • All-UFL defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs (Orlando Storm)
  • All-UFL wide receiver Tyler Vaughns (Dallas Renegades)

  Their workouts continue a trend of NFL organizations closely evaluating the league’s top performers ahead of training camp.

  UFL Continues Producing NFL Talent

  The numbers continue to underscore the UFL’s growing influence as a developmental league.

  Since the conclusion of the 2026 season:

  • 66 players have earned NFL workouts.
  • Those players have participated in 95 total workouts.
  • 30 players have signed NFL contracts.
  • 65 UFL and spring football alumni currently enter NFL training camps under contract.

  The recent surge follows another successful UFL season that saw numerous players revive or elevate their professional careers before earning opportunities with NFL organizations.

  With training camps now underway across the league, NFL clubs continue looking to the UFL for experienced, game-tested talent capable of contributing immediately at football’s highest level.
