Louisville Kings WR Kaden Prather Signs With Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have signed Louisville Kings wide receiver Kaden Prather, making him the sixth player from the 2026 United Bowl championship team to earn an NFL contract this offseason.
Prather continues Louisville’s remarkable pipeline to the NFL following the Kings’ championship-winning inaugural UFL season.
Sixth Louisville Kings Player to Reach the NFL
The Packers become the latest NFL team to tap into Louisville’s championship roster.
Prather joins an impressive group of Kings players who have signed NFL contracts since the conclusion of the 2026 UFL season:

- WR Lucky Jackson – Detroit Lions

Valuable Contributor to United Bowl Champions
Prather appeared in nine regular-season games for the Kings in 2026, making three starts while recording nine receptions for 148 yards.
In addition to his role on offense, the 6-foot-3, 209-pound receiver contributed on special teams, finishing the regular season with three tackles.
He also appeared in both postseason victories, helping Louisville capture the 2026 United Bowl championship.
Strong Collegiate Career
Before entering professional football, Prather built an impressive résumé at two Power Four programs.
He began his collegiate career at West Virginia, appearing in 23 games while totaling 64 receptions for 676 yards and three touchdowns.
After transferring to Maryland, Prather became one of the Terrapins’ top offensive weapons, recording 98 receptions for 1,290 yards and nine touchdowns over two seasons.
NFL Opportunity Comes Full Circle
Prather was originally selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
After participating in training camp, he suffered a late preseason injury that landed him on the Reserve/Injured list before being waived during final roster cuts.
The Louisville Kings selected Prather in the 2026 UFL Draft, providing him another opportunity to showcase his abilities.
His performance with the Kings ultimately earned him a second chance in the NFL, where he will now compete for a roster spot with the Green Bay Packers.
The Louisville Kings retain Prather’s UFL rights should he return to the United Football League.
